The Woodbridge Boatyard is a traditional boatyard in Woodbridge, Suffolk, dating back to 1889.
The Boatyard is situated on the river Deben in Woodbridge, Suffolk, providing repair, restoration, boatbuilding, moorings and winter storage.
The current boatshed is believed to date from c.1912, presumably after the original structure burnt down, since it became known as “Phoenix Works”. The older brickwork beneath the sea wall level probably was part of buildings associated with the use of the area as a coal yard in the mid nineteenth century.
