USM were part of the team led by Colin Buchanan commissioned by City of Westminster to review all their street market activity and devise ideas for the future. We advised on the Westminster Act (similar to the London Local Authorities Act) which governs how the markets can be managed. The Council were looking at devolving management responsibility from the markets team down to a more local basis and our work advised on this aspect too.
