RBKC commissioned BDP, MVA and USM to undertake a regeneration study of Golborne Road in North Kensington. The aim was to consider the future of the road through both design and business related issues, maintaining the interesting and lively atmosphere. The work included surveys of all market traders and retailers, customer consultation and development of design proposals and related options.

The work not only fed into RBKC thinking on the future of this road and its market and assisted in re-orienting the management regime for the market, but it also formed part of a review of town centre viability undertaken by the borough. |
